Suitable Model
Take the following operating conditions as an example:
Hot water temperature:
37ºC
Cold water temperature:
32ºC
Range (hotcold water temp, difference):
5ºC
Ambient wetbulb temperature:
27ºC
Circulating water flow rate:
450m3/h
How to read the chart:
Trace up the Hot water temperature of 37ºC vertically to find the intersecting point 1 with the 27ºC ambient wetbulb temperature curve.
Shift the point 1 to the right to find the intersection point 2 with the 5ºC range curve.
The trace up again from the point 2 to find the intersecting point 3 with the 450m3/h circulating water flow rate.
Now you can notice the required cooling capacity of 560 tons; The suitable model is SCT600.
Remarks:
For cooling tower hot water temperature exceeding 50ºC, heat resistant version should be used (delivery by, special order)
